Draper, UT | October 29, 2026: PDK will showcase its latest access control innovations at ISC East 2026 in New York City, highlighting advanced reader technologies, wireless locking solutions, and software features designed to simplify system management.

Event attendees can explore PDK’s latest hardware offerings, including the Red Reader V2 and the Red Wireless Deadbolts, Cylindrical Locks, and Interconnected Locks. Additionally, visitors to the PDK booth can also explore the PDK.io platform and learn more about the company’s upcoming software feature: Controller Replacement.

The new Controller Replacement feature has been designed to streamline the process of replacing existing PDK Controllers with new ones, in the case of system upgrades and fixes. “Replacing a controller used to take more time than it should, especially when a failure meant we needed to get a customer’s system back up quickly," says Dan Amundsen, Senior Technician at Hilton's Electronic Security. "The new Controller Replacement feature makes that process fast and straightforward. We can also upgrade an R1 or R2 to an R4 to add more doors while preserving the reader details, port assignments, names, and other configuration work we’ve already done. That saves our technicians time and creates a simple upgrade/expansion path.”

By combining new hardware options with practical software enhancements, PDK continues to focus on helping integrators and end users simplify installations, reduce service time, and adapt their access control systems as security needs evolve.

Visit PDK at ISC East 2026 (Booth #1120) to learn more about these innovations and see how PDK’s cloud-based access control platform helps security professionals manage and scale their systems with confidence.
